NOTES:
Jase Woita hit .417 (5-for-12) with two doubles, a home run and two RBI in the Auburn series. Woita has upped his average to .314 with a .533 slugging percentage.
Beau Hollins now has three four-hit games in his freshman season after his 4-for-5 output in game one of Friday’s doubleheader against Auburn. Hollins had four hits against Tennessee on March 29 as well as Friday night’s win at Mississippi State. Hollins is now hitting .305 with five home runs and 20 RBI this season.
Henry Kaczmar continues to hit SEC pitching. He had four hits in the Auburn series, including a home run in game one of the doubleheader on Friday. Kaczmar now is hitting .326 with four home runs and 15 RBI in conference contests.
Carolina plays four home games in the final week of the regular season. The Gamecocks host Winthrop Tuesday night at 6:30 p.m. They then host LSU for a three-game set beginning Thursday night. Senior Day festivities will take place Friday night.
